Axient is seeking an Executive Administration Professional - Property Manager to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. 

What you will do...

 

United States Army PEO Missiles & Space (M&S) Management Support Office (MSO) has a critical need for self-starting, detail oriented Executive Administration Professional (EAP) to serve in the role of Property Manager who values for processes, data management, and prizes their ability able to function in a fast-paced environment. Individual is a direct report to the Chief, Management Support Office, supporting key administrative and operational requirements that vary in frequency, scope, and urgency. 

 

Major area of support sees the EAP performing property management by conducting research, analysis, and coordination with both internal and external agencies to support, track and maintain the identification, management, of regulatory and contractual documentation objectives associated with Government Furnished Property (GFP) issued to matrix and core personnel, and Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contractors at PEO MS.  The EAP performs in/out-processing tasks for PEO M&S US Military and Department of the Army (DA) Civilian, and Contractor personnel.  In/Out-processing tasks in include issuing property (monitors, phones, desks, computer accessories, etc.) via Army Stationing and Installation Management Plan (ASIP), conducting periodic inventory of and replacement and/or purchase of property, and collecting property to include accountable access artifacts (e.g., badges, keys, etc.) during out-processing. EAP ensures the PEO M&S Occupancy Chart is updated in conjunction with all personnel changes. 

 

EAP-Property Manager duties include:

  • Manage, track, and sustain a system of records, to include a DA 2062 database, of all property assigned to the support staff of project office.
  • Maintain and validate the serialized assets across the entire project office.
  • Conduct physical inventories, review and advise property disposition when property is lost, damaged, or destroyed.
  • Process the transfer of information from the COLTS database into the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) for the project office.
  • Ensure that all issued property is reflected in DPAS.
  • Inventory, stock, store, and issue all installation property and maintain a system of record, to include disposition instructions and destruction documents.
  • Establish inventory management plans for completing DPAS actions, and brief leadership on the status associated with those plans.
  • Assist and prepare the ordering of new, and/or replacement hardware, maintaining detailed accountability of the hardware in stock.
  • Interfacing/presenting to Tier I and Tier II employees and provide weekly status reports to management.

 

MSO is a cross-functional team, so in addition to Property, job duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Act as Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) for the Defense Travel System (DTS) within PEO M&S.  
  • Serve as member of the Mission Support Office Integrated Product Team (MSO IPT). 
  • Perform Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) activities/entries for PEO M&S US Military and Department of the Army (DA) Civilian personnel. 

Skills you will need...

REQUIRED:

  • Associate’s Degree or higher in relevant discipline from an accredited educational institution
  • Experience, especially that which demonstrates operating in a regulatory environment in a leadership capacity, may be substituted for education at Government’s discretion
  • If applying as a Veteran, DD-214 with honorable discharge
  • Able to demonstrate public speaking and writing ability on demand.
  • Able to obtain SECRET clearance.
  • Pass a background & credit check.
  • Experience with strategic communications.
  • Strong Aptitude for data management /entry.
  • Ability to function as part of a team, with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance/attire.
  • Ability to function under significant pressure and maintain professionalism.
  • COLTS/DPAS experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have experience working with property accountability at the organizational level.
