Axient is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Hypersonics Group at Eglin AFB, FL, developing and fieldingtest and evaluation (T&E) instrumentation, providing technical expertise and oversight in the design, development, and integration of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in systems engineering, with experience in integrating test and evaluation instrumentation to existing T&E systems.

What you will do...

  • Analyze complex system requirements, develop and evaluate system architectures, and oversee the integration of test and evaluation instrumentation to meet those requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical oversight during program execution.

Skills you will need...

  • Must be able to understand systems engineering principles, test and evaluation methodologies, instrumentation systems, and integration principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline and up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Education substitution - 4 years of relevant experience in place of bachelor's degree, or 2 years relevant experience plus associate's degree may be approved upon review. 
  • Secret Clearance
