We are looking for an amazingly talented Sea Based Weapon Systems Requirement Engineer to join our team! You will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.

 

 

What you will do...

What You Will Be Doing With US:

 

  • Acting as a liaison with DEI-E regarding AB Requirements
  • Acting as a liaison with ABE Futures
  • Tracking and in some cases submitting threat data requests
  • Threat Community of Practice Administrative support
  • Setting up ABE Threat Days (Next is Mid -Feb)
  • Ad-hoc meeting coverage
  • Assistance in development of briefings to support ABE Threat Engineering
  • General ABE Threat Engineering (should mention support of MBSE model development; not the actual MBSE Model Development; confluence)

Skills you will need...

What We Need from You:

 

  • US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
  • Master's degree and 12+ years of related experience working on DOD or missile defense programs OR a Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of related experience working on DOD or missile defense programs
  • Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks

 

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

 

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems
  • Experience with Weapon System Development
  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
