Axient is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to support the 40 FLTS at Eglin AFB, FL, by conducting high-priority planning and in-depth data analyses for major project assignments.

What you will do...

  • Serve as a consultant on weapon system effectiveness, performance, and analysis.
  • Provide system performance and effectiveness analyses to aid in the development of new armament, sensor, and aircraft systems.
  • Support integrated flight testing of fighter aircraft (A-10, F-16, and/or F-15) on projects such as:
    • Weapon system integration.
    • Aircraft software and hardware upgrades.
    • Targeting pods and other related systems.
  • Assist in test planning and design by:
    • Identifying test data requirements.
    • Collaborating with instrumentation engineers to ensure proper data collection and integrity.
    • Collecting and downloading test data.
    • Reducing data for analysis preparation.
  • Participate in development and review of test run cards, program technical reviews, and mission briefs and debriefs.
  • Support test mission execution and conduct real-time quick-look evaluations of test results.
  • Post-mission responsibilities include:
    • Obtaining and delivering data to appropriate agencies.
    • Reviewing flight test data and videos.
    • Validating and verifying data to ensure integrity and accuracy.
    • Identifying and coordinating flight test data analyses to address anomalies.
    • Reviewing flight test reports to investigate anomalies and develop technical solutions.
  • Analyze, identify, and evaluate critical issues, providing recommendations to resolve them effectively.
  • Develop analytical tools such as mathematical models, equations, computer programs, and simulations to model and analyze data.
  • Manage databases for test points, watch items, and other relevant information.
  • Monitor similar test activities conducted by other agencies and identify opportunities for integrated testing.
  • Occasionally travel as required to support test activities.
  • Work on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of programs, potentially overseeing less senior staff or managing efforts of an assigned team.

Skills you will need...

  • A Master’s degree in an applicable discipline with
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • OR, 18 years of experience is required with no degree.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance by start date. 

Desired Experience:

  • Experience working with operational or developmental test organizations.
