Provide engineering services to the Space System Command (SSC) government customer on requirements generation, Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) and concept development to support satellite, payload, launch and operation prototypes. As a remote sensing ground mission area advisor, you provide advice on space and ground system requirements and technical outreach to mission stakeholders. This includes engineering advice on satellite and ground segment integration.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, identify, document and report, in accordance with the NG OPIR SBIRS and Weather SEPs, SMC-S-001, FORGE, and EMD, DOSSC, DSC, GEO 5/6, SFP contract requirements, technical discrepancies relating to mission stakeholders (460 th OG, USSTRATCOM, Intelligence Community, MDA, etc.) plans, program performance and verification activities, implementation, accreditation, and transition to operations in the Weather mission areas and the four broad OPIR supported mission areas (MW, Missile Defense (MD), Battlespace Awareness (BA) and Technical Intelligence).
- Monitor, identify, document and report, in accordance with the FORGE, EMDs, DOSSCs, GEO 5/6 and SFP contract requirements, NG OPIR SBIRS and Weather SEPs and SMC-S-001, technical discrepancies relating to on-orbit sustainment support (e.g., anomaly resolution, performance monitoring, and operational command coordination) and ground systems sustainment support.
- Monitor, identify, document and report, for compliance with FORGE, EMD, DOSSC, DSC, GEO 5/6 and SFP contract technical requirements, NG OPIR SBIRS SEP, and SMC-S-001, technical discrepancies from USAF Space OPIR and Missile Defense Integration (MDI) Contractor and Government agency activities relating to on-orbit system test planning, resource allocation, execution and operational command handoff activities.
