Axient is seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst to support our customer in Huntsville, Alabama. 

What you will do...

Duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops PowerPoint presentations other written communications that communicate aspects of the strategic plan and initiatives. 
  • Independently leads efforts on special studies and/or projects.
  • Assist the G3S and all organizational senior leaders in the development and implementation of command initiatives that are in the best interest of AMCOM, AMC and the Army.
  • Possesses analytical ability to review a wide array of quantitative/ qualitative tools, metrics, and techniques in the review of strategic initiatives.
  • Integrate and provide support to battle rhythm strategic and other events with senior leaders and action officers. This includes coordinating with staff action officers, deconflicting meetings, scheduling meetings, and monitoring for changes. 
  • This integration effort is extremely complex as it affects the planning for sustainment of legacy and modernized aircraft and missile systems.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Develops ExSums for key meetings.
  • Collaborates and works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to create, review, edit and submit products for General Officer level staff functions and engagements.

Skills you will need...

Desired Experience:

  • Preferred minimum of 10 years Army organization management experience.
  • Successful candidates must possess and/or have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and 15 Years of relative experience required.
  • Possess expert knowledge of the functionality of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Familiar with the organizational structures of US Army Materiel Command, PEO Aviation, Army Futures Command, US Army Aviation and Missile Command and the Office of the Secretary of the Army.
  • Previous exposure to or experience with US Army strategic level working groups, messaging and shaping documents.
