Millennium Engineering and Integration Services, an Axient subsidiary is seeking a System Engineer to support our customer at NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) in Moffett Field, CA. The individual will have experience working multiple projects and supporting mission operation activities. The primary duties and responsibilities will be to support ongoing mission operation activities for the numerous CubeSat projects at NASA Ames Research Center. They will be working within multi-disciplinary teams with expertise across science, engineering, technology, communications, and management.

What you will do...

  • Systems Engineer supporting mission operations
  • Software Development for satellite data analysis
  • Understanding of NASA mission ops requirements and NASA processes
  • Implement procedures and processes for mission ops 
  • Ability to analyze mission data and the data integrity

Skills you will need...

  • Ability to understand project needs, goals and objectives and translate them into a technical solution
  • Expert in C, Python, Java, MIPS, Verilog, Vue, JavaScript, MatLab
  • Requirements management (develop, allocate, track implementation, control changes)
  • Strong knowledge of developer tools such as GIT, Docker, VS Code, Visual Studio, PyCharm, IntelliJ, Eclipse
  • Strong understanding of NASA processes and procedures for CubeSat projects 
  • Previous experience with NASA missions
