Axient is excited to provide this opportunity for an Electronic Warfare Acquisition Engineer, Senior to support the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Program Office (AFLCMC/EBA) at Robins AFB, GA.

What you will do...

  • Conduct engineering performance, effectiveness, life cycle cost, producibility, reliability and maintainability, risk and scheduling trade-off studies;
  • Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective action using application of engineering economy principles;
  • Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures;
  • Conduct engineering reviews, studies, audits, and technical analysis;
  • Support associated armament program engineering IPTs;
  • Conduct and evaluate time and engineering cost estimates in support of research, development, test, training and acquisition of armament related systems, and;
  • Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with AF SEAM processes.

Skills you will need...

Minimum Requirements

  • ABET accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 18 years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Must have or must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level.  Must be able to maintain the required clearance. Eligibility for cleared access in this instance requires US citizenship.

Desired Experience

  • Electronic Warfare (EW) and/or Radar to include theory and engineering application of electronic warfare principles and techniques across armament systems life cycle for offensive and defensive electronic systems.
  • Modeling and simulation development; EW/Radar model V/V; data process definition; analysis tools development and implementation; improvement of operations analysis procedures; review of intelligence information, and; program management.
  • EW and threat systems to identify, define, plan, and implement solutions to offensive and defensive electronic systems
  • Aircraft and weapons operations and flight test methods as they pertain to EW acquisition.
