The DevSecOps Engineer will work as part of an operations-focused Kanban team maintaining a DevSecOps pipeline for a Command and Control (C2) system. This position requires onsite support at NSWC Dahlgren in King George, VA and could require occasional off-hours support (e.g., evenings).

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) environment using containerization technologies (e.g. Red Hat Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) and cloud environments (e.g. Amazon Web Services). 

What you will do...

Responsibilities:

  • Support code deployments including performing troubleshooting, spin up services/pods, etc
  • Perform CI/CD pipeline patching, upgrades, and vulnerability scans
  • Implement Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

Skills you will need...

Requirements:

  • Fully Adjudicated Top Secret Clearance (United States Citizenship Required)
  • 3+ years of experience
  • CompTIA Security + certification
  • Experience with containerization technologies
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

Preferred Skills & Experience:  

  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred, but not required

  • CompTIA CASP or CISSP certification

  • Experience with supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with web development or microservice architectures
  • Experience supporting operations for projects with a four or more Scrum development teams
