Axient is seeking an JADC2 Senior Engineer in support of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) for a joint initiative chartered with the Services to analyze the hardest military challenges facing the U.S. and our Allies; and to develop experiments to provide future warfighting architectures to address these challenges through:
• Change the current warfighting paradigm of reliance on a Service-specific and platform centric force into one that operates as a disaggregated kill web that is able to execute rapidly composable, joint, and all domain kill chains.
• Exploit both existing and emerging technologies across the Services, to address known capability gaps, opportunities, and threats.
• Conducting mission-centric, multi-Service and multi-domain analyses, modeling and simulation (M&S), and experimentation to inform research and development (R&D), and program of record recommendations.
A current TS/SCI clearance is required.

A minimum of 15 years of experience leading the planning and execution of complex mission and systems analysis efforts which may include Technology Analysis and Assessment, System Definition, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture development and architecture products for Systems of Systems (SoS), kill chain analysis, SE trade space and analysis to define capability gaps, Modeling and Simulation activities for mission improvement, or Logistics support of DoD systems.
A minimum of 15 years of demonstrated experience in supporting technical, managerial or operational fields demonstrating strong and professional oral and written communication skills across various stakeholders at varying levels of leadership/seniority. Experience working with COCOMs is highly desirable, as is a network of active contacts within the intelligence community.
