Axient is seeking an Acquisition Operational Energy Analyst to support SAF/IEN with Senior Project Management and Policy Support SME(s) at their respective company location or onsite if direct support is required.

 

Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

 

 

What you will do...

 

  • Subject to Government approval, coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain SAF/IE’s Operational Acquisitions Energy Program governance and programmatic documents (e.g., AFIs, policies,), action plan recommendations, task and inquiry responses, and issue resolution action plans.
  • Provide detailed updates to leadership and interested parties by participating in 23 meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after action reports, minutes)
  • Review CFL and MAJCOM Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS), key performance parameters (KPP), capabilities-based assessments, Air Force strategic planning system; capabilities, requirements, and lifecycle management processes; and PPBE to include OSD CAPE SNaP (Select & Native Programming) plans using existing DoD and AF processes and tools.
  • Participate in S&T evaluations and RDT&E and S&T reviews

 

Skills you will need...

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and and 5-10 years of DoD acquisition experience.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with TS/SCI elgibility 

Location

Hybrid – preferably within 50 miles of Pentagon. Fully remote resources can be considered. If onsite seating is not available for a given day, the SME will call IEN NLT 0900 to provide status updates for ongoing activities and receive additional tasks. 

 

Travel

Position may require travel as much as 25% annually in rough terrain and remote locations, potentially including accessing elevated facilities, and the ability to carry supplies and equipment necessary for assessments of infrastructures and related systems.
