Are creation of visualization tools and displays for large datasets your thing? Working on a lightweight team, and truly owning (wall-to-wall) the solutions to problems? How about working remotely, from wherever it is that you call home? And perhaps the icing on the cake, what if your efforts directly supported satellite operations and ultimately your nation’s defense?
Axient is seeking a Front-End Developer to develop and truly own web development for a state-of-the-art ground system (Maven) that is currently being built for the United States Space Force in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will be the expert and you will decide and design your own solution to achieve the directed outcomes. This may include (but is certainly not limited to) the use of Angular, React, D3.js, Chart.js, and other HTML5 and Javascript technologies. You will also be in direct contact with the end users of your creations, and be expected to receive feedback and process it for positive outcomes.
While you may be working remotely or onsite, you will be in close contact with engineers and scientists who are actively building and testing a Space Force satellite on the ground in Albuquerque that is currently being prepared for launch into orbit. You will report directly to the chief architect of Maven (a fellow contractor) and work with a larger blended team of military, civil servant, and contractor personnel.
