Axient is seeking a Senior-Level Systems Engineer to support Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) integration with the US Army and Foreign Military Sales.

 

This position will include synchronizing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements with Army Programs of Record for CUAS and ensuring Army programs meet Technology Security requirements.

What you will do...

 

Responsibilities

  • Liaise between FMS and US Army equities to develop CUAS requirements, test planning, and materiel improvements
  • Represent the FMS community at technical interchange meetings, integrated product teams, tests, and other engineering events
  • Develop reference architecture for FMS requirements
  • Inform approval processes of Supervise test plan development FMS equities
  • Engage with international Ministries of Defense in support of US Government representatives to develop cooperation programs for CUAS
  • Develop Measures of Performance and Measures of Effectiveness to validate requirements in testing.
  • Support COCOMS as CUAS SME, including developing briefs for customers, providing technical expertise during briefings with customers, and SME input on case development
  • Support technology security/foreign disclosure process including Tri-Service Committee engagements, Electromagnetic Warfare Executive Committee engagements, Missile Technology Control Regime analysis, International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Arms Export Control Act analysis

Skills you will need...

Required

  • Travel up to 25% including OCONUS and operational zones
  • CUAS experience including technical understand of radar, EO/IR, C2, interceptors and EW/NAVWAR, operational employment of systems and sustainment of programs
  • >12 years Federal Government engineering experience
  • Active TS clearance, upgradable to TS/SCI
  • Experience with technology security, including criticality analysis, critical program information assessments, low observable/counter low observable tri-service committee

Desired

  • DAWIA certified Advanced PM or Practitioner Test and Evaluation
  • Master’s Degree in technical area including engineering, computer science, physics, etc
  • >5 years Foreign Military Sales experience
  • Experience starting up new programs
