Contingent on contract capture, Axient LLC seeks a blue force facilitator to support the Air Force A-5 Wargaming contract. The candidate must be a skilled professional leader, with a background to support the Air Force A-5 wargaming efforts. The tasks include wargame operations, analytical support, video teleconference operations, wargame information environment (WIE), surge operations, and program management.
Work will include supporting the Pentagon Air Staff A-5 in the management oversight of air and space wargaming. The candidate must be able to support the Service customer in the development and management of innovative wargaming that support Air and Space Force requirements.
The candidate will be the primary point of contact for Blue (in-game Coalition) and Green (other allies/partners/host nation(s) planning team(s) and 1) organizes and oversees Blue and Green facilitation team in support of game lead, 2) creates, maintains, updates applicable documents and templates, 3) facilitates wargame participation to achieve game objectives, 4) conducts open source and classified research and analysis related to Air Force strategy and concept development, strategy implementation, and participation in defense strategy review, 5) contributes to development and execution of wargame design, objective, and analysis plans, 6) assists in data management and coordination of Blue and Green force structures and orders of battle, and their accurate representation in the appropriate game systems, 7) drafts wargame products to support Joint Planning, 8) contributes domain or functional subject matter expertise to wargame planners and staff, 9) contributes to data collection during wargame events, 10) conducts post‐game analysis and provides input to wargame reports, 11) supports development and dissemination of post‐game outcomes for senior leaders and stakeholders, 12) participates in non-AF Wargaming wargames if directed, and assists in accomplishing staff taskings/actions as directed.
The candidate must also be able to 1) provide support and as needed and attend required meetings, 2) prepare inputs for reports, briefings, strategy documents, and/or draft policies through research, analysis, writing, and soliciting data and compiling inputs from staff in partnering offices; 3) identify potential risks or opportunities for future force strategies and capabilities, 4) draft written reports supporting air and space strategy and integrating of nuclear energy into future military architectures; and 5) support modeling and simulation activities, including wargaming, detailing the impact to the warfighter; and other tasks as assigned.
The candidate must have skills to 1) communicate clearly, 2) work well with government and commercial engineers and 3) interface across the HQ Air Force, HQ Space Force, Air Force Research Laboratory, Office of the Secretary of Defense offices, and the other military Services.
