Axient is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support our customer in El Segundo, CA.
The Cybersecurity Analyst provides direct Assessment & Authorization support to the Space Systems Command, Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power, Innovation and Prototyping Delta.
The Innovation and Prototyping Delta provides next-generation rapid, innovative & affordable technology that leverages international, commercial, & interagency partnerships.
This position requires a DoD Top Secret Clearance to start.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, updates, accomplishes Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) entries and updates, coordinates and staffs Certification and Authorization (C&A) packages for mission systems in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework.
Administers mission systems information assurance telecoms and eMASS database updates
Registers mission systems within the Air Force Information Technology Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS) in compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
Reviews mission systems certification policies, programs, procedures and reports for initial and follow-on system releases, including new and evolving cyber system requirements and documents findings with suggested changes
Conducts and documents Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) and physical security penetration tests on mission systems
Revalidates information assurance and cyber controls for accredited mission systems and documents findings with suggested changes
Assesses as required, higher headquarters directed changes in the C&A policy requirements for their impact on mission system security posture or Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorized systems
