Overview

Axient is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to support our customer in Warner Robins, GA. 

Responsibilities

Duties to include, but not limited to: 

  • Assist in the coordination and integration of numerous activities and functions to maintain weapon systems at an optimum state of readiness and provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) across the spectrum of the logistics support elements.
  • Provide support in a variety of direct and indirect activities including but not limited to: milestone planning, logistics studies, working group support, supply support, logistics analysis, depot liaison support, administrative services, technical order support/research, source data package support, and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) documents, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), LCMP and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material. Shortage (DMSMS) management plans.
  • Utilize the CCaR system to initiate documentation and generate reports to define and coordinate program requirements, formulate budgets, forecast program execution, track the program execution, and reconcile execution data.
  • Assist the Government with preparation and maintenance of software program management tools to track procurement and receipt of modification kits and assets, and aircraft instillation and completion schedules.
  • Coordinate with DoD agencies, including but not limited to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), to support resolving parts availability issues and shall provide expertise in supply processes and present solutions to the Government PM.
  • Provide support logistics management services to support reviews and meetings including but not limited to PMRs, PDRs, CDRs, CCBs, Product Improvement Working Groups (PIWGs), SSGs, production status meetings, design reviews, TIMs, and other associated program meetings and conferences.
  • Assist with the Aircraft Availability Improvement Program (AAIP) and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force (CSAF) Weapon System Review (WSR) to include communication with AFLCMC leadership, Air' Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) leadership, and Lead MAJCOMs.
  • Perform analyst duties of obtaining aircraft availability data, tracking actual availability against standards, performing root cause analysis on maintenance/supply drivers hindering availability, establishing, realistic availability targets.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level.  Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 8 of which must be in the DoD.
  • Must have life cycle logistics knowledge and experience in support of aircraft and systems; DoD experience is preferred.
  • Working experience and knowledge of a wide variety of logistics support activities; these activities include, but are not limited to, integrated logistics elements and support functions necessary to sustain the readiness and operational capability of a system, to include all the logistics elements of manpower and personnel, technical data, facilities, maintenance planning, supply support, and computer resource support for acquisition and sustainment planning.
