Axient is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our customer, the 96 Communications Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida 32542. **US Citizenship and Secret Security Clearance Required** 

 

The 96 Communication Squadron is comprised of multiple departments and is solely responsible for the 96 Test Wing’s communications infrastructure on Eglin AFB, and its many surrounding military structures.

What you will do...

  • Perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, and arranging conference calls.
  • Schedule and track meetings.
  • Conduct research and prepare non-technical statistical reports.
  • Manage and provide necessary documentation for requests for information.
  • Support organizational process changes (or improvements).
  • Maintain Air Force and organizational publications.
  • Perform office organizational activities.

Skills you will need...

  • Bachelor’s with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in administration and clerical functions. Substitution of experience for education will be considered with government approval.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft office products to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Have excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and have knowledge in AF directives and procedures.
  • Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group.
  • Must have ability to quickly understand the customer’s overall objectives and mission and provide effective solutions.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capability.
