Axient seeks a Test Analyst/Engineer supporting The Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Office (JCO) at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.
Responsibilities
This is not a uniquely Lab – or - Bench Testing Position. It’s a combination of Lab / Bench / Coordination and Execution of The Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Office (JCO); C-sUAS Demonstrations and Testing:
You will be in an operationally relevant environment = Outdoors and exposed to the environment at times when executing a Demonstration or Testing event
Testing / Demonstrations can be for prolong periods during formal Demonstrations and Testing events
Coordinating with subcontractors and Other Government Organizations (OGA’s) personnel in the identification and completion of all test and regulatory requirements In Accordance With (IAW) Test Plans and Procedures
Completing Requirements, Verification and Validation documentation, and reports
Creating Test Plans and detailed step-by-step Test Procedures to satisfy Demo/Test requirements
Supporting the client in the execution of highly complex Demos/Tests according to approved procedures
Ensuring customer requirements are met by analyzing data to determine customer satisfaction
Developing mitigation strategies for identified issues and following-up to ensure problems are resolved
Providing Test Department Leadership with timely information and periodic reports pertaining to the overall status of all assigned projects
Participating in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) in formulating, establishing, and coordinating customer requirements
Developing and delivering briefings to senior stakeholders across all project phases
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Per contract requirements: US Citizenship is required and must currently possess an active and transferable Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Security Clearance *with current Investigation*
Candidates must live – or - be willing to relocate to the Ft Belvoir (FBVA), Virginia 22060 area
Desired: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in related discipline; Preferred: Graduate degree in related discipline
5-10 years of applicable experience
Travel: 35-50 percent
Prospective Test / Demo Engineers should be creative, have good problem-solving skills, and work well under stressful situations
Experience in the Test & Evaluation (T&E) of DoD Radars, Electronic Warfare, or C-sUAS systems (Groups 1-3) desired
