Overview

SEG, an Axient company is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our customer Surface Combat Systems Training Command in King George Virginia. 

 

SCSTC is a training organization of over 6,500 staff and students across 12 global locations.  SCSTC implements culture of excellence and warrior toughness by building a Surface Warrior mindset to complement the technical and tactical skillsets of building the kill chain and closing the fire control loop.

Responsibilities

You will provide Systems Engineering and Training Analysis services to the SCSTC in support of the following areas:

  • Manpower and Personnel
  • Infrastructure Support
  • Functional Integration Management (FIM) Support
  • Training Management Support
  • Documentation Support
  • Training Systems Acquisition and Life-cycle Support and International Programs (IP) Support to the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force, Spanish, South Korea, Norwegian, Australian, Singapore Foreign Military Sales and future IP Initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6 Years relevant experience
  • US Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience in the design operation and/or maintenance of complex U.S. Combat Systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the analysis of recommended changes and in determining the impact on system readiness and user functionality.
  • Experience in reading design documents, evaluating high level interface block diagrams, evaluating commercial equipment, part task trainer emulations and simulations for applicability to create flexible and cost-effective training and readiness capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Navy weapon systems is desired.
