Overview

Axient is seeking an Enterprise Requirements and Integration Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the SATCOM Capability Integration office managing a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure.

We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a collaborative work environment of small teams tackling the challenges of integration and transitioning complex communications systems to operations.

If you do not have a clearance this is a great opportunity to get in at the ground floor to support the US Space Force and its ever growing mission.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BS degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, or network and telecommunications
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools used to support requirements development and traceability
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in systems engineering
  • 4+ years with system specification, verification, or analysis
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required for the position

 

The following additional skills and experience would be a plus.

  • Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ESEP, CSEP) or program management (PMP)
  • Certifications in MBSE (OCSMP)
  • Certifications in Agile Development
  • Knowledge and experience in Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and FAB-T terminal programs
  • Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
  • Experience with ground and airborne
