Axient is seeking an Journeyman Database Engr/Analyst to support our customer in El Segundo, CA. 

What you will do...

Support to Government customer in El Segundo, CA for systems engineering and integration of Space Force projects for the Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO), including but not limited to:

  • Build and maintain database repositories at all 3 classification levels
  • (unclassified, secret, TS-SCI) to store Space Force mission area future
  • architecture products, analysis outputs, roadmaps, studies, War Room artifacts, etc.
  • Design and implement database using industry standard tools such as Confluence, JIRA.
  • Enable distribution to the right users across SSC and SSIO, in an appropriate format and in a timely manner, and control access privileges to sensitive program data.
  • Provide proactive and reactive data management, updates, support and training to users across SSIO.
  • Determine, enforce and document SSC/S5 database policies, procedures and Standards.
  • Provide other engineering/integration support as required by the customer and contract

Skills you will need...

  • BS, Engineering required
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Knowledge management
  • Digital engineering data base entry
  • Basic financial understanding
  • Graphics and technical editing skills
  • Teamwork,
  • Knowledge of Govt procurement, protocols and military courtesies a plus.
  • TS required with ability to obtian SCI.

Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
