Overview

Axient is seeking a Capture Manager to join our Integrated Forces team in Huntsville Alabama!

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Capture - Participate in the entire business development and capture process from market strategy and initial identification through proposal development and submission.
  • Relationship Management - Development and maintenance of strategic interpersonal relationships with key government customers, industry, academia, key consultants and Subject Matter Experts. Leverage these relationships to build win strategies, engage teammates, and garner SME support. Support organic growth of existing task orders
  • Data Management - Utilize and follow the Axient growth process including Salesforce data base maintenance, following the Axient growth process and gate reviews, and reporting out as required.
  • Capture Operations - Develop capture strategy for high-value opportunities across and within multiple Army and specified DoD organizations. Conduct capture operations including deep research, interviewing, formulation of early solutions, and test solution concepts on the customer prior to release of the Draft RFP. Directly support capture planning and execution across all Axient divisions
  • Proposal Operations - Develop, lead, and execute proposal strategies. Work across technical, business development, and support functions across a corporate enterprise to develop a winning bid strategy and proposal
  • Marketing Support – Support the development and execution of marketing including attending conferences and developing marketing collateral
  • Continuous Improvements - Continuously assess and recommend improvements to our growth processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements and Desired Experience:

  • 10+ years of related business development and capture experience working with an array of Army and DoD customers is required.
  • Experience executing capture operations and winning task orders across multiple IDIQ’s and single award contracts.
  • Strong mastery of strategic capture processes with the ability to develop strong technical and management responses.
  • The versatility, leadership skills, and initiative to identify new business opportunities and move captures from initiation to proposal to transition required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - oral, written, and listening are crucial.
  • Initiative, high energy, and passion for developing and capturing new business.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical and management capabilities and experience with customers.
  • Must have an active, or eligible to attain, a transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level and able to maintain the required clearance

 

Highly desirable:

  • Demonstrated success with business development on large IDIQ contract vehicles such as FedSIM, OASIS, EXPRESS, RS3, and others.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of related experience

Must meet applicable safety requirements and protocols
