SEG is seeking a candidate to provide Software Engineering Technical Support for the Standard Missile Program.

What you will do...

Duties 

  • Evaluate the embedded software for adherence to requirements and sound design practices.    
  • Monitor the software development activities and report anomalies, risk areas, and provide suggestions for corrective action.   
  • Review software development documentation to assess adherence to program technical requirements.  Assess development schedules to evaluate reasonableness and approach.  

Skills you will need...

Requirements  

 

  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Knowledge of agile software development in support of DoD programs.   
  • Knowledge and experience in software design, development, test, and project management is required.  
  • Knowledge and experience with embedded or real time software is a plus.   
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.   
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles, software best practices, agile development, and project management of missile systems development is highly desirable.   
  • Knowledge of Navy weapon systems is highly desirable.  

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience 

 

Travel 

Frequent travel (25%) to contractor sites is required 

 

Clearance
US Citizenship is required.
